We supply ESSO Marine Gas Oil and Lubricants to numerous locations across Scotland including the Northern Isles. Principle ports include:
- Aberdeen
- Glasgow
- Grangemouth
- Inverness
- Oban
- Campbeltown
- Lerwick
- Kirkwall
The types of vessel we cater for is diverse; from small pleasure craft to ocean going tugs.
Fuel deliveries are by road tanker but some locations can also offer bunkers by pipeline. In Aberdeen, for example, we can supply by road tanker and by pipeline.
ESSO's Marine Lubricant range is extensive and with specific grades for all types of shipboard applications including oils for:
- Engines
- Hydraulic Systems
- Winches
- Compressors
We can undertake, at request, vessel lubrication surveys providing the owners and engineers with a detailed schedule of recommended oils for all the machinery on board. This service is supported with ESSO's own marine technical department.
In addition, we can also provide a lube oil sampling service which monitors oil condition whilst also checking for contamination and wear metals giving detailed elemental analysis.
With our two principle lubricant distribution depots, Glasgow and Aberdeen, supported by local depots we are geared to offer first rate delivery service to all types of vessel.
Grades are available in standard packages and bulk deliveries are also catered for although may be dependent on location and product availability.
